Background

Dr. Gupta founded Tribeca Psychology in 2012 and practiced in Tribeca, New York City for over a decade before relocating to Atlanta in 2024. She works with high-achieving adults navigating stress, anxiety, eating concerns, and the emotional demands of fertility treatment and family building.

Her approach to therapy is direct, practical, and grounded in evidence. Her clinical training focused on cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness based therapies, and attachment based therapies.

Prior to focusing on her practice, Dr. Gupta served on the full-time faculty at Barnard College, Columbia University, where she taught courses in clinical psychology. She earned her BA at Duke University, PhD at Columbia University, and completed her clinical training at NY Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Medical College, where she received advanced training in the Cognitive Therapy Clinic and Eating Disorder Program.

Locations

Dr. Gupta meets with new clients in-person at her offices in Tribeca, NYC and Buckhead, Atlanta. Most sessions thereafter are conducted via telehealth.
